  • Arrive hungry! Events begin with drinks and a tasting flight of fresh-from-the-oven pizzas as your group arrives.
  • Make dough from scratch together.
  • Enjoy a guided mozzarella tasting and discover the secrets of our signature sauce.

What’s the difference between the Workshop and the Experience?

THE WORKSHOP is 3-4 hours inclusive of welcome reception w/pizza tasting & drinks + make dough with us + pizza-making celebration.
THE EXPERIENCE is 2-3 hours inclusive of welcome reception w/pizza tasting & drinks + interactive dough demo + pizza-making celebration.
Both THE WORKSHOP and THE EXPERIENCE feature a 100% hands-on, pizza-making/bonding event your guests will delight in attending.

What is a private event at Pizza School NYC?

A private event at Pizza School NYC is a fully private, hands-on pizza-making experience on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Your guests learn, laugh and eat their way through an interactive, unique event built around great pizza, drinks and bringing people together.

How many people can I bring?

The WORKSHOP can accommodate up to 16 people.
The EXPERIENCE can accommodate up to 24 people.
If you need to add 1 or 2 more guests we can fit them in ($100 per person fee applies).

Can we do a shorter event?

With advanced notice we can fast track events a bit without compromising the experience. Let us know what you’re thinking and we’ll let you know what we can do to accommodate your timeframe. 

Will my friends/family/colleagues/clients/boss have fun?

Since opening in 2010, we’ve hosted thousands of events for friends, families, colleagues, clients, high-level executives, VIPs, celebrities, and… everybody! As our hundreds of 5-star reviews show, there’s never a dull moment. Everyone has so much fun that they typically stay the entire time and sometimes even longer.

Do you serve alcohol?

We offer a fantastic selection of pizza perfect wines, beer, spritzes, cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks. Ask to see our current beverage menu.

What if one of my guests is gluten free/vegetarian/vegan/has food allergies?

Gluten-Free: If your guest has extreme gluten sensitivity or celiac disease, Pizza School may not be the right fit, as traditional flour is used throughout the space. If they’re comfortable joining in all the dough-making and stretching fun, we’ll have delicious gluten-free crusts ready for them to top, bake, and enjoy.

Vegetarian, vegan, or devoted meat lovers, everyone is equally well catered to. Our reception pizzas are vegetarian (vegan mozzarella available upon request) and when it’s time to make their own pizzas, guests can choose from a fully stocked pantry of veggies, meats and more.

Food Allergies: All pizzas are baked in shared ovens that have cooked foods containing wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and meat. While our facility is impeccably clean, we cannot guarantee that food allergens will not be transferred through accidental cross-contact.
